Boiler Repaired, Then The Pool Pump Fails

I had a pool party about to take place when I noticed the pool pump had gone out.  I was horrified.  I wasted no time in calling the pool builder who initially built the pool.  They service it as well but could they repair the pump in two hours?  Not only could they, they did!  I knew this company was awesome when I had them build the pool years ago.  I never realized they were so good with time sensitive emergencies though…well, my classification of an emergency.  It was by chance and good timing on their part that they had the replacement I needed.  Pool pumps only need to be replaced every 8-15 years but it was time.  Two pool repair men came out and got right to work.  I’m not sure exactly what they did but it cost much less than I had expected.  They were in and out and the area was all cleaned up before the first guest arrived.  I was never so grateful in all of my life.  Ideally, if your pump goes out, you know it’s about to and you have prepared for it in advance.  Or, you don’t have a party happening in two hours.  It is best to have the pump replaced before it actually goes out, I am told.  But, that’s not going to happen with me.  That’s a lot to ask of a pool lover.  I never want to be out of the pool long enough to have something done to it.  If you don’t have a stellar pool service company like I do, you may want to consider getting one.  Had I had to look around for a service and then ask them to have the pump fixed in a matter of hours, pretty sure I would have been laughed at.  Instead, I received the ultimate service imaginable.  The party went without a hitch and was a wonderful time for all.  I wouldn’t have missed it for the world and glad I didn’t have to!
